Ejmiatsin Cathedral, also known as the Holy Etchmiadzin Cathedral, is the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church and is situated in the city of Vagharshapat, near Yerevan, Armenia. Recognized as one of the oldest churches in the world, Ejmiatsin Cathedral holds immense cultural and religious significance for Armenians.
Founded in the early 4th century by Saint Gregory the Illuminator, Ejmiatsin is considered the first cathedral built in Armenia and the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
